As part of the 2024-2025 School Without Walls programme, our Grade 4 and Grade 5 embarked on a remarkable journey that enhanced their character and built lifelong skills.
Our Geckos demonstrated incredible resilience and courage as they embraced rock climbing and archery challenges. They became true risk-takers, exploring new perspectives and strategies independently and collaboratively.
During SWW, students actively engaged in exploration, nurtured their curiosity, and honed their inquiry skills. Activities like fire-making and planting encouraged them to learn independently and work collaboratively.
Through hands-on projects such as catapult and raft building, students applied critical and creative thinking to analyse problems and take responsible actions. They confidently expressed themselves, listened to others’ perspectives, and collaborated effectively to achieve shared goals.
At SIS, we firmly believe that experiential learning is a cornerstone of a child’s development. By stepping beyond the classroom, students delve deeper into meaningful learning experiences that bring education to life.
