春日植树节和哈罗小狮课程所倡导的十大领域和学习素养完美契合，通过一系列植物生长的教与学，让孩子在感知自然中建立五感认知。

艺术与创造力：从绘本插画的色彩启发，到立体豆茎的空间构建，孩子用黏土、自然材料再现小狮正在学习的绘本《杰克与魔豆》的元素，将二维想象转化为三维表达；

精细动作发展：种植花草时的指尖控制、雕塑中缠绕编织的手眼协调，在游戏化任务中完成小肌肉群的精准锻炼；

科学思维萌芽：通过“植物成长日记”，小班的孩子们虽然还不会书写，但他们能将自己观察到的植物形态用说、画的方式努力表达出来。感知光照、水分与植物生长的因果逻辑，萌发初步的探究意识；

情感与社会性：每日轮流担任“护苗小卫士”，在照顾植物的过程中学会等待、分享与责任，独立性的嫩芽与共情力一同舒展。

在这个植树节，我们Y7的学生此前成立的哈罗海口有机肥料公司团队代表学校，身体力行，全力支持可持续发展，为保护环境贡献一份力量。

或许，我们无法在广袤的山野种下大片树林，但我们可以在校园、在庭院，亲手种下一棵小树苗，为它浇水、施肥，见证它茁壮成长。

这小小的举动，汇聚起来，就是对地球、对我们所处的家园最真挚的热爱。

让我们继续携手前行，将环保的理念融入我们的日常生活中，为我们所处的校园乃至后来人创造一个更加美好的生态环境。

The Spring Arbor Day activities resonate profoundly with the Harrow Little Lions Curriculum. Through immersive botanical explorations, children cultivate sensory cognition by engaging with nature's rhythms.

 Art & Creativity
Inspired by the vibrant illustrations of the picture book Jack and the Beanstalk, K1 students transform 2D imagination into 3D expression—sculpting fantastical beanstalks with clay and branches, bridging storytelling with spatial artistry.

 Fine Motor Development
From delicately planting seeds with fingers activities, playful tasks refine hand-eye coordination and strengthen small muscle groups, help children gain confidence in writing

Scientific Thinking
While our K1 students may not yet write, they try to speak and mark their observations on their "Planting Diaries". By tracking the growth process, they can perceive the causal logic between light, water and plant growth, and develop a sense of inquiry;

 Emotional & Social Growth

Children take turns to take care of the Seeds and seedlings every day and learn to wait, share and take responsibility in the process.

On this Arbor Day, the Harrow Haikou Organic Fertilizer Company team, which was previously established by our Y7 students, represented the school and took practical actions to fully support sustainable development and contribute to protecting the environment.

Perhaps, we cannot plant large forests in the vast mountains and wilderness, but we can plant a small sapling with our own hands on campus or in the courtyard, water it, fertilize it, and watch it thrive.

Let us continue to move forward hand in hand, integrate the concept of environmental protection into our daily lives, and create a better ecological environment for our campus and even for future generations.
