
On Saturday, March 8th, all staff at ISA Science City came together for a dynamic professional development day. The event included whole-school sessions, sub-school focused workshops, and specialized training for the Professional Services Team, to foster collaboration and enhance the education experience we provide to students.
3月8日周六,爱莎科学城全体教职员工共同参与了一次专业培训会。本次专业培训会内容丰富、议程紧凑,涵盖全校集体研讨、分学部专项培训及专业服务团队技能提升,为团队协作与教学质量提升注入新动力。
Elementary Team:
Curriculum Integration & Wellbeing Focus
幼小学部:深化课程整合与关怀支持
Elementary teachers focused on enhancing the Programme of Inquiry (POI), integrating Social Studies and Science standards into unit design to ensure interdisciplinary coherence. The afternoon pastoral session emphasized parent engagement and staff wellbeing, equipping educators with strategies to communicate well. Subsequently, the PE and Arts Department conducted cross-disciplinary exchange and collaboration training, aiming to enhance the consistency of provision to enhance learning and cultivate student confidence. Additionally, the Elememtary team also worked on differentiating support for students whether this is Challenging High Achievers and Differentiation for homeroom, ELS, learning support, and Chinese teachers, helping them better meet the diverse learning needs of students and raising the level of achievement.
幼小学部围绕“课程框架优化”展开研讨,将社会学与科学标准融入单元设计,确保跨学科连贯性。下午的“家校沟通与员工福祉”环节,教师们探讨良好沟通的实用策略,学校将为教育者提供全方位支持。随后,体育与艺术部开展了跨学科的交流与协作培训,旨在加强教学的一致性,提高学习效果,培养学生的自信心。同时,主班老师、英语语言支持、学习支持和中文教师致力于为学生提供差异化的支持,并开展了“成绩优异拔高项目和差异化教学”的培训,更好地满足不同学生的学习需求,提升成绩水平。

中学部:课程设计与协作创新
Secondary sessions revisited lesson structures through direct instruction and scaffolded inquiry. Subject groups engaged in collaborative planning to align curriculum documentation and skill progression. Collaborative planning meetings in teams were also conducted in each subject group, where teachers worked together to plan lessons, share teaching experiences and resources, to enhance the consistency of teaching and learning.
中学部通过“课程结构优化”工作坊,深入探讨教学标准与课堂设计,强调“引导式探究”与“学生主导活动”的结合。学科组会议则聚焦协作规划,确保课程讲义与技能进阶的连贯性,为高质量教学奠定基础。同时,各学科小组开展了团队协作计划会议,教师们在团队中共同规划课程,分享教学经验和资源,提升教学一致性。
Professional Services Team:

专业服务团队:卓越服务与职场健康
The Professional Services Team refined skills in customer service excellence and workplace wellbeing. Sessions on tools like Deep Seek and stress management strategies empowered staff to streamline tasks and foster a supportive environment. Through case analysis and group discussions, team members learned how to solve problems in complex environments and drive meaningful change. PST leaders were introduced to adaptive leadership which provides techniques to facilitate change in complex organisations.
专业服务团队的培训则聚焦于提升领导力和工作效率。通过“客户服务卓越实践”“Deep Seek工具应用”及“职场压力管理”等培训,专家和领导们分享了提升服务效率与团队福祉的实用技巧,助力专业服务团队的职业成长。通过案例分析和小组讨论,团队成员们掌握了在复杂环境中解决问题的方法,推动有意义的变革。适应性领导力培训为领导者们提供了在复杂环境中实现变革的技术和方法。
