5年前，Aaron离开了广州某双语学校，成为了哈罗深圳的创校生，开启了学术生涯新起点。 

“上一所学校的班主任总说我的性格跳脱，有棱角。但哈罗深圳的老师却说：我们欣赏有个性的思考者。”

从中文环境过渡到哈罗深圳全英文教学初期，Aaron初期也经历了适应期的阵痛，部分科目需从头学起。而哈罗深圳包容的校园文化环境、多元院舍活动和英语飞跃提升计划，致力于帮助每一个学子迅速成长。

“虽然从广州到深圳通勤上学也是一个挑战，但是我喜欢这里的校园环境和学习氛围。”

哈罗深圳着重培养学生的学习自驱力，导师发现他的数理思维优势后，为其定制了聚焦数学、物理的A-Level选课路径。 

“学校的数学教学着重于启发思维，而不是提供解答思路，这与传统教育体系很不一样。我十分享受通过坐标系和几何体积推导理解抽象概念，其实数学在日常生活中有着独特的美感和应用。”

Aaron另一个兴趣点在于与现实世界联系极强的物理学，力学和受力分析令他着迷。因此香港大学的机械工程成为了他连接数学和物理学科的最佳选择。

“我不对自己的未来设限，人工智能横空出世将极大的重塑世界，未来的人生拥有着无限可能！”

1. 承认脆弱，比假装坚强更酷：明确自身不足，及时寻求学校和老师的帮助，避免因“靠自己硬扛”耽误进步。 

2. 拒绝无效努力：学业上“知道问题出在哪”，行动上“该补就补”，拒绝表面努力，注重实际提升。 

3. 接受不完美的成长：不要把一次失败当回事，保持平和心态，不断寻求新的挑战。 

Five years ago, Aaron transitioned from a bilingual school in Guangzhou to become a founding student at Harrow Shenzhen—a decision that profoundly shaped his academic trajectory.

"At my previous school, teachers often referred to me as 'unconventional'. Here at Harrow Shenzhen, my educators emphasize, We value thinkers with individuality." recalls Aaron.

The transition to Harrow's full English immersion came with initial challenges. These challenges were particularly due to gaps in certain subjects. However, the school's inclusive culture, diverse House activities, and English Language Development programme enabled his rapid progress.

"Commuting from Guangzhou to Shenzhen for school was a challenge. However, I find the campus environment and learning atmosphere here to be highly enjoyable."

Harrow Shenzhen prioritizes self-driven learning. When tutors recognised Aaron's strengths in logical reasoning, they tailored an A-Level curriculum focused on Mathematics and Physics.

“Harrow's approach to mathematics emphasizes how to think rather than what to think—this marks a departure from rote learning. I developed a passion for deriving abstract concepts through coordinate systems and geometric volumes. Mathematics is not just about equations. It also embodies a blend of beauty and utility.”

Aaron's interest in Physics, particularly in mechanics and force analysis, deepened over time. This dual passion made HKU's Mechanical Engineering program—a blend of mathematical theory and applied physics—the natural choice for him.

“I refuse to limit my future. With AI reshaping our world, the possibilities are endless!”

1. Embrace Vulnerability – Recognise your weaknesses early and seek support instead of struggling in isolation.

2. Avoid Performative Effort – Focus on addressing specific gaps, rather than just engaging in blanket "hard work". Prioritize progress over appearances.

3. Celebrate Imperfect Growth – View setbacks as learning points rather than definitive outcomes. Stay curious and continue pursuing new challenges.
