MIS is a community of exploration and openness, using open teaching methods and prioritizing the development of students' abilities. With the IB mindset, MIS students are knowledgeable and well-versed in communication and self-reflection, placing importance on their character development along with their academic pursuits. They approach learning with curiosity and a spirit of inquiry, following social etiquette and possessing the ability to collaborate with others. MIS students maintain individualized development in their learning processes, exploring the essence of things, reasoning, and substantiating arguments, and deepening their knowledge through various forms of discovery, investigation, and research methods. They apply their academic knowledge to practical situations; MIS students' learning process is a self-exploration and self-actualization process.

Speech of French Language day

by French teacher Ms. Segolene

On March 20th, over 270 million French speakers around the world are celebrating this festival. French is widely spoken not only in France but also serves as an official language in Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, and many countries and regions in Africa. Its influence is evident. International French Language Day reminds us that language is a bridge connecting different cultures. By learning French, we can gain a deep understanding of French literature, art, and history, and thus exchange ideas and enhance mutual understanding and friendship with people around the world.

Additionally, the United Nations Day of Multilingualism initiative launched by the Department of Global Communications of the United Nations further highlights the significant status of French globally. By designating the anniversary of the establishment of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) as French Language Day, it has further promoted the dissemination and development of cultural diversity.

At our school, the MIS French Teaching Center and the Vision of World of the Student Government are collaborating to organize a series of exciting International French Language Day activities. The student organizations have also carefully set up a French interactive experience area where students can personally experience the charm of the French language and enhance their language skills.

MIS Student Government Events

Student Government

Student Support Union

Date: March 19

This week, the head of the Student Government and Student Support Union led students on an innovative journey into computer game design. Together, they created a mini-game called "Void Vortex." In the game, players control virtual characters embarking on a thrilling adventure in a virtual world.

The game's setting is rich in symbolism: "Void" represents the initial state of life, signifying the unknown and challenges ahead, while the "Vortex" movement transforms into a dance of existence, symbolizing continuous adjustment, adaptation, and breakthrough in difficult situations. By experiencing the entire process of game design—from conceptualizing ideas to coding, from testing and optimization to perfecting functions—students not only found an outlet to relieve stress and soothe emotions amidst their busy studies but also unleashed their boundless creativity. Moreover, they seized this opportunity to delve deeper into computer knowledge and enhance their practical skills.
