我是广州暨大港澳子弟学校的封岩校长，非常荣幸能够与谭校一同站在这里，见证我们近百位高三学子即将踏上新的旅程。作为校长，我深感荣幸，亦倍感自豪，能够在这个特别的时刻，与大家一起回顾过去的美好时光，共同见证2025届高三同学的毕业盛事。

从2021年创校之初，我们便迎来了一群充满热忱的学生——你们当中有超过一半是当时初三的首届创校生，踏上了广州ASJ这片充满希望的土地；也有同学是在高一或高二加入我们的行列，成为这所学校不可或缺的一部分。你们是这所学校的开拓者，见证了它的成长，而学校也见证了你们的蜕变。从懵懂的少年，到即将踏入人生新篇章的青年，你们在这里留下了无数青春的印记。

这三年的高中生活，时光荏苒，但回想起你们的成长历程，仍历历在目。还记得在运动会的跑道上，你们风驰电掣，互相加油打气；紫荆花节上，你们载歌载舞，让校园充满欢声笑语；温暖冬暨慈善义卖中，你们热情洋溢，用实际行动传递了爱心与善意。最令我们欣慰的是，看到你们在学术、体育、科技、艺术等各类竞赛中屡获殊荣，站在领奖台上，那份骄傲与自豪，我们至今难忘。这些瞬间不仅是你们努力拼搏的结果，更是你们勇敢追梦的最佳见证。

在此，我还要特别感谢我们的老师们。你们不仅传授知识，更以无私的爱和耐心引导着每一位学生的成长。你们是学生们的良师益友，也是他们人生路上的引路人。在此，让我代表全体毕业生，向所有辛勤付出的老师们致以最诚挚的感谢！同学们，让我们一起以热烈的掌声，感谢老师们用爱与智慧陪伴我们一路前行。

请永远记住，无论你们走到世界的哪一个角落，你们永远都是暨大港澳子弟学校的一员，我们高中楼前的参天大树，年年为你们萌发新绿。

Dear graduates, teachers and parents,

Good morning!

I’m the chief principal of Guangzhou ASJ, YY Tam. Today, it’s my great honor to be here with principal Feng, witnessing nearly a hundred Grade 12 students starting their new journeys. As the head of school, I’m proud and privileged to share this special moment with you all, cherish the memories we had together and celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2025.

Since 2021, our first year of our school establishment, we welcomed passionate learners—over half of you joined us in Grade 9, our first year of school establishment. Some joined us in Grades 10 or 11. Absolutely, each one of you become a precious jewel in our hearts. We grow together, from curious teens to confident young adults today, and ready for the new chapters.

Three years of high school have flown by, but your growth is still vivid in our minds. We remember your energetic races and cheers on the sports field, your wonderful performances that lit up the Bauhinia Speech Festival, and your enthusiastic participation that passes on love and kindness in the Winter Warmth Charity Sales. Most proudly, we’ve watched you perform well in academics, sports, technology, and arts, standing tall on podiums. These moments are not just achievement, but also powerful testimonies to your courage in pursuing your dreams.

I’d like to thank our teachers here. You’ve not only taught students’ knowledge but also guided them with selfless care and patience. You are mentors, friends, and lifelong role models. On behalf of all graduates, let me express our sincerest gratitude to all the hardworking teachers and supporting parents! Graduates, let’s give our teachers and parents a warm applause together and thank them for their love and wisdom.

Always remember: No matter where life takes you, you will forever belong to the ASJ family. The tree in front of our high school building will sprout leaves each year, symbolizing your enduring connection to this place.

Our school has a profound mission since establishment. We believe ‘every child can be successful’ and aim to nurture globally competitive talents with Chinese roots and international perspectives. Here, you’ve gained knowledge and trained in cross-cultural understanding and critical thinking. Today, you can discuss global affairs in English and express love for Chinese heritage. This fusion of Chinese and western perspectives is the most precious asset of the future world.

As you set sail today, you’ll enter a broader world and pursue further studies in different regions and fields in the future. Remember your roots in China, your bond with Hong Kong and Macao, and your responsibility to the world. The Greater Bay Area is booming, and our country is innovating towards a new era. Hope you can carry this responsibility, chase your dreams bravely, integrate your personal growth into the country’s prosperity, and contribute to various fields such as technology, finance, culture and education.

At the end of this speech, I’d like to share an AI saying with you “The best way to predict the future is to create it”. While AI can generate these words, only you can give them the true meaning.

May you ride the waves of change, chase dreams boldly, and create extraordinary futures.
