Chemistry Classroom Innovation: Teacher Yang Yachun Attends District Training Activity
本月初，我校普高部青年教师杨雅淳老师，应邀参加由苏州市相城区教育发展中心主办的“高中化学大家学堂”培训活动，上了一堂精彩的公开教学课。此次公开教学课的授课内容为高中化学《共价键、共价晶体》单元，该单元理论性强，学生容易感到枯燥，但杨老师凭借精心设计的教学方案和生动的语言，成功突破教学难点。她以“知识紧密衔接+可视化教学工具”为主线，结合电化教学辅助手段，激发了学生的课堂参与热情，圆满完成了教学任务。课后，杨老师感慨：“好的课堂不是知识的搬运，而是思维的点燃。”
Early this month, Teacher Yang Yachun, a young teacher from our High School Department, was invited to participate in the “High School Chemistry Expert Classroom” training activity organized by the Xiangcheng District Education Development Center in Suzhou. She delivered an outstanding public teaching session on the unit “Covalent Bonds and Covalent Crystals” in high school chemistry. This unit is highly theoretical and can be tedious for students. However, Ms. Yang successfully overcame the teaching challenges through a meticulously designed lesson plan and engaging language. By focusing on “seamless knowledge integration and visual teaching aids,” combined with electrified teaching tools, she stimulated student participation and completed the teaching objectives effectively. After the class, Ms. Yang reflected, “A good class is not about transferring knowledge, but about igniting thinking.”

I am committed to creating a positive, interactive learning environment where students are free to ask questions, explore and innovate.

荣获相城区专业素养比赛二等奖
Math Teacher Hong Yi Wins Second Prize in Professional Competence Competition
与此同时，苏州美高学校普高部中青年教师洪屹老师在2025年相城区高中数学教师专业素养比赛中荣获二等奖。此次比赛旨在促进区内高中数学教师队伍建设，搭建专业成长平台，营造“以赛促学、以赛促练、以赛促研”的良好氛围。洪屹老师凭借扎实的专业知识和出色的教学能力，在众多参赛者中脱颖而出，展现了苏州美高教师团队的深厚实力。
Meanwhile, Teacher Hong Yi, a middle-aged teacher from our High School Department, won the second prize in the 2025 Xiangcheng District High School Mathematics Teachers’ Professional Competence Competition. This competition aimed to strengthen the professional development of high school mathematics teachers in the district, provide a platform for growth, and foster an atmosphere of “learning through competition, practicing through competition, and researching through competition.” Mr. Hong stood out among participants with his solid professional knowledge and exceptional teaching skills, showcasing the strong capabilities of our school’s faculty team.
