【Swipe left for English】

绘本的呼吸在舞台上有了温度。PreK-A班的「热带丛林」里,大象舞动彩旗,熊仔跳起舞蹈,小狮子吹响嘹亮的萨克斯;

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."

— Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!

At BMH Preschool, stories came to life during this year's World Book Day celebration. From Doraemon's iconic dorayaki treats to the rhythmic gallop of zebras across the African plains, our young performers transformed beloved tales into vivid, living adventures—bringing imagination, joy, and wonder to every moment.

Classic Tales and Childhood Wonder

  「BMH World Book Day

Teachers and student hosts warmly welcomed families to a day where books became gateways to imagination.

K3C brought Doraemon to life, with their blue-and-white costumes radiating the warmth of friendship. K2B's performance of Fantastic Mr. Fox captured the clever wit of the story, as tiny actors outsmarted imaginary farmers with sly grins and quick, playful movements.

The stage buzzed with excitement as K3A's Un Poco Loco burst into a whirlwind of Latin dance, echoing the vibrant spirit of Coco.

Picture books transformed into lively scenes: PreK-A's Jungle Adventure featured elephants waving flags and lions “roaring” through toy saxophones, while K1B's Madagascar turned penguin waddles and lemur leaps into a joyful, laughter-filled performance.

Wonder Stories Across Time and Space

Cultural stories crossed continents. K1A's African adventure pulsed with drumbeats as animals brought savanna legends to life, while K1C's Panda Dance blended traditional charm with playful stomps, their black-and-white costumes swaying in rhythm.

K2A's How to Be a Superhero had their voices unwavering in conviction: “We'll be as brave as superheroes!”

K2C's Carnival dazzled with feathered masks and twirling dancers, their rhythms blending folklore and childlike joy.

Then, K3B's The Gruffalo plunged the stage into twilight. Tiny actors transformed the classic tale into a lyrical ode to bravery.

Even PreK-B's littlest stars wove magic. With If You're Happy, they built a rainbow bridge of melody.

Behind the magic lies BMH's commitment to nurturing readers. In library corners, focused faces pore over pages; during storytime, tiny fingers trace words alongside teachers. These moments are shaping a lifelong love for books.

We're not only delighted to have celebrated stories but also to have seen them take root in curious minds and begin to flourish.
