This week, the Kindergarten 2 class has been learning about the weight scale to explore numbers, using different materials to enhance their skills. They have enjoyed playing guessing games to determine the weights of various objects, making the learning process both interactive and enjoyable. Through these activities, the children have developed a greater understanding of numerical concepts.

This week, our Kindergarten 3 students have been using their prior knowledge on place value to learn how to use the column method for addition. This method can further enhance their addition skills and allows them to add two digit numbers more easily.

This week in early years music time is approaching unit 4, Sharing the Planet. For Foundation and Kindergarten 1, the first activity is to make a paper cup phone. The children discover the sound vibrations, while in Kindergarten 2 Music Time, the focus is on recycling materials to make a simple instrument called a little whistle made of newspaper and plastic.
